Creedence's Primer

New Characters Creedence would know:

D. I. Furnace -- AKA Furn, a Rita Skeeter-esque journalist/mangaka type hired by the Baron to do a serial about Port Shimmerly & the Coast Guard in particular

Jaysennia Amanita -- you would know her as an odd woman who recently took up reisdence at The Lodge

Eidella Montgomery -- who you mostly know by reputation from Gherd gushing about her all the time

The Coast Guard -- up to you how well you know them. At the very least you would have hung out a bit with Calloway, but they recently stopped coming around to The Lodge. Other than Calloway, Furn would be giving very dramatic retellings of what they've done... or at least, what Furn will say they've done.

New Info Creedence would know:

Sultana is out of town often. No one knows what exactly he's doing, but ostensibly he's doing something for The Baron because he's okay with it.

There's some kind of infestation in the caves. At this point anyone who has a basement is at least experiencing foul smells. Sulphier claims there's something moving in the basement and won't go down there. Henrietta has just taken anything that can mold out, but still keeps wine, salt, etc down there.

Most recently the caves beneath town have become covered in lichen, which seems to be eating away at the stone and turning the floors of the tunnels into gravel and dirt as opposed to smooth stone.

A new drug, Gutpunch, has just surfaced in town. Lord Understone's organization is probably distributing it, maybe making it, but it's unclear at this point what exactly it is. There is just talk about Gutter Parties where groups of people get together and take the drug together. Gutters, the people who partake, are known to be very motivated to get to these parties, and are motivated to do very little else.
