D. I. Furnace (Furn to her friends). Furn is a Rita Skeeter-esque journalist/graphic novelist. The Baron has just hired him to make a bi-weekly editorial zine about Port Shimmerly, with a focus on the achievements of the Coast Guard when relevant.

D. I. Furnace (pen name; “real” name is Caediel (cay-dee-el))

Spring Eldarin. Appears to be ~35 yo. Changes genders frequently. He/she/they pronouns. Ambidextrous; appears to be taking notes in his left hand and drawing sketches of the team’s faces in their right. [Br]
Extremely pale pink, almost white skin, with cherry blossom pink at the corners of his eyes, cheeks, and lips. His hair is reddish brown, and coiled into braids that start large and split apart like tree branches. Pale green eyes. Wearing a yellow blouse with the sleeves rolled up so they don’t get ink on them; both of his arms bear stains.
