Fire

Creation of fire is an allowed technology.
While Create Fire is a common allowed spell, it's recognized that some people have difficulty using magic of this type. As fire is required for warmth, cooking, and light, the use and creation of fire via technological means is allowed.
This allows starting fire with flint, feeding fire with wood or candles, and smothering fire with water or lack of air.
While the technological creation and use of fire is allowed, not all uses of fire are allowed. For example, burning down the Emswort palace would still be illegal.
