A Travelers Weary Respite

Before you, just along the roadside is a ramshackle building, somehow holding itself together throughout the years with stray nails and makeshift fixes. It has a peaked green clay tile roof that sags in upon itself while the roof is supported by a stone foundation, supplimented with cracked windows and wooden framing. The structure is old, and the sun beating down on this hut is a prime example of poor upkeep in a poor area away from most forms of civiliaztion for two days in any direction.
Outside of the inn is a sign, written in Sylvan with the phrase "A Travelers Weary Respite" as it creaks in whatever wind happens to form that day. Should anyone approach between dusk and midnight, a candle lantern hangs beside the door, just barely bright enough to light up the sign.
Inside of the tavern, there is never much excitement. There is a bartender, a sickly looking gnome that coughs into a handkerchief before using it to wipe down a wooden mug. There is a light musty smell throughout the bar, set with only three tables, and four chairs for each table. More often than not, one would find a group of four to six soldiers, huddled around a single table, complaining about the ale and conversing with one another.
