Tattered Watcher

Tattered Watchers are mysterious creatures that while rare are most often found lurking near ancient dolmans and standing stones in the nameless fields neat the Edge. The motives disposition and nature of these creatures is unknown though they are universally unsettling. Their appearance is that of an indistinct and insubstantial humanoid shape made of shadow that dissipates near the edges of their bodies. To observers they look unsettlingly like  two dimensional objects that continually shift perspective so they always face the observer directly. They posses expressionless faces with large white unblinking eyes that contrast sharply with the rest of the creatures body and maintain a flat luminescence that remains the same regardless of lighting conditions.
