Sacred Absorption
Sacred Absorption is a unique ability that all summons and humans can learn congruently. The ability in question is less popular for human wielders, due to its total effect in utility in Leray battles, but has been considered more popular to teach summons in order to counter their potential elemental weaknesses against other elemental attacks.
Sacred Absorption is essentially a glyphring-enabled support aura with unique effects. The spell generates up to a maximum of three elemental glyphrings of choice, becoming stronger in defensive power if all three match the same elemental factor. The way it works generates these three glyphrings, their size proportionate to the body of the wielder casting the spell, in three random locations on that body. When enabled, these three elemental glyphrings stay attached and glued to the body of the wielder for a long duration of time. Their effect causes all magical damage of the matching element for that glyphring to be entirely absorbed, nullifying all incoming damage if that damage matches the element on the glyphring.
However, the spell in question can only be absorbed if the attack form make a direct hit only to that matching glyphring. If the attack misses the glyphring and instead hits the body, or hits a different glyphring where the elements to not fully match, or if the spell contains multiple elemental infusions, then the defensive aura will not take effect. Since on humans, these three glyphrings only activate at the size of about 12 inches in diameter once spawned, it leaves open chance that an opposing spell compatible for damage absorption may miss the glyphring and hit the body where no valid glyphrings are currently spinning. On summons, since summons are generally larger in size, their absorption glyphrings are also much larger in size, proportionate to the changes, increasing the potential effectiveness against ordinary elemental spells. As another caveat however, when a summon invokes Sacred Absorption, that summons exclusively gets control rights over which elemental factors are put into each glyphring; the summoner does not decide so.
Sacred Absorption, when used by summons can provide a unique defensive barrier for the long duration that they last. While summons can dismiss these defensive glyphrings whenever they like, the spell effects have the potential to last up to twelve minutes with enough practice. Since the summons decide the elements of defense on all three glyphrings, there is a factor of randomness to the ability in Leray battles, which has led to a recent increase in its popularity over time.

Manifestation
While the spell is considered a defensive support aura, the ability does not actually generate any kind of aura on the body of the user. Instead, it generates three randomly placed elemental glyphrings around the body in different locations, holographically glued to the position until the spell ends. These glyphrings stay in their place, rotating around since they are holographic disks, generating the energy needed to absorb their matching element. If an attack of magic both matches the element of the glyphring (disregarding included physical damage), and is made only to hit the area where the glyphring is stationed, then all of the damage will be lost into the glyphring, while the glyphring itself will remain fully active. The glyphrings are ineffective against area attacks or full area attacks, unless all three glyphrings are made of the exact same element, and also match the element involved in the area attack. If the attack, normal or area attack contains only partial elements of the opposing glyphring, then the damage is only partially reduced accordingly. When the glyphrings are spawned for defense, they cannot be relocated.

Discovery
Sacred Absorption was a lost spell for a fair period of time, as many human Leray wielders found it ineffective in combat. However, once applied in learning to controlled summons, the ability became popular once more with a minor boost in effectiveness given higher than average glyphring sizes for potential defense arcs. All summons are capable of learning this ability, such as Massife.
