Rune of Argus
The sacred Soulfront Rune of Argus grants the holder the ability to see through the eyes of another person beside themself for an extended period of time, as if viewed from that person's perspective. The target of this ability never has any awareness that their forward vision has been hijacked by another, and this power can only apply to one human target at a time at the range of several kilometers. Since the ability also has a means of locating an unknown person in the distance, the skill has a more scouting practicality than combative. The user may instantaneously shift from one target to the next, but prolonged usage will cause severe drains in energy.
Effect
Forced one-sided vision sharing of one human target at a time.
Side/Secondary Effects
With all Soulfront Runes, each activation of its power will bring the user closer to death. This effect is difficult to measure directly, though the wearer of the rune has a severe reduction in all availible energy to them for a period of time once the primary effects wear off. The duration of the drain increases each and every total time the rune is activated, until the body gives out, killing the holder of the magical mark.
Manifestation
Magical Marks can appear similar in nature to the holographic glyphrings, but activate from the magical tatoos embewed onto the body, and typically have unique, one-of-a-kind designs. Argus specifically features a carefully separated artwork around one of the two eyes, plus a dot near the opposing eye.
Source
Magical Mark + MP Energy
Discovery
The discovery of the soulfront runes is disguised in the mysteries of the magic paradox, as outlined by Minerva. Only the Polarian Rebels have been seen using such marks. It is rumored that only one person bears this mark, one of the Soulfront Seven.
Applied Restriction
To be capable of using this skill, the holder must not be blind, and must be capable of seeing through at least one eye. Partial blindness will not block the power, but will impair the vision coming through from targets.
