Quad Scanner
The Quad Scanner is a new innovative technology designed with some external assistance from Sprawn Valley scientists and Pharacorp's best minds. While it has little uses in warfare, this compact mobile scanner can sample the blood of any individual, and perform a deep scan on that person's magic related states, including an ME count and the possible wearing of magical symbols embedded into their body. The unit is based on the Deep Scanner technology run in Sprawn Valley, but operates in the compact space of a tiny machine easily fitting into a person's two hands. The source of its power appears to come from an internal crystal sphere siphoning from any available veil.
Given its effective use more of an interest to mages than to Terracom soldiers, the Polarian Rebels have been trying to steal these compact Quad Scanners, and learning about the ratios of those who are marked and those who have a high ME count.
