Narwolf
Narwolves are one of the most well-known natural predators of the Polarium dense forests. They hunt in large packs, looking for anything to eat. Polarium offers a wide variety of potential food source for these wolves in the form of rather small animals. This creates for the wolves a constant need for movement and hunting, though they are highly territorial. Narwolves have proven their intelligence to the native Polarians, and are marked as a beast all should stay away from. The creatures have a fair level of intelligence, and won't attack any humans so long as the wolves feel their territory or food source is not in jeopardy. These wolves will however show no mercy against any human who dares cross the line of moving too far into a designated Narwolf zone.
The creatures number in the hundreds, and are distributed widely throughout Polarium, seen in no other countries. They are larger than all other wolf species, though they have no special, unusual, or magical abilities.
