Marauder

Marauder is a summon ability not learnable by humans, specific to Bahamut. Marauder is an extremely rare skill. Only Bahamut possesses the nature of this skill, and even then, it has never been seen before by human eyes while survived. Marauder makes absolute and full use of Banahut's wing-control functions which enable individual control program executions for each and every mechanical panel on the body. Marauder is the skill making full use of each panel.

Upon use, minor MP energy is flooded into each panel for aura-based damage amplification. Then, every single panel making up Bahamut's metal wings blast off, launching from their thrusters into the sky, into wild directions while avoiding early accidental collision with any nearby objects or enemies. Once the wing parts attain enough distance, they all quickly change course to the designated locked-on target (one or multiple), and fly in a collision course to those targets. Recall that each front end of each panel is shaped in a manner making them jagged and sharp, so a collision impact alone will inflict heavy damage. The damage level of the impact is made more severe by the panels achieving maximum velocity through a prolonged flight from their thrusters, and boosted even further by the retained non-elemental damaging aura infused into every single one of them.

This is Bahamut's ultimate skill. Marauder separates its entire wings and mechanically transforms each isolated panel into a flying piercing sword attack. Because most of the damage is based on physical elements including natural kinetic energy, the power level per hit is extremely high and lacks any kind of magically-generated limiter. A single panel striking a vehicle will destroy it easily from this skill, despite Leray-resistant factors on armor (since most of the damage is non-magical). Marauder is intended to take care of a single powerful opponent rather than a swarm of opponents nearby, but is almost equally effective against either scenario. Against a single target, the potential damage estimation factors are said to reduce HP of the strongest known creature's endurance level from 100% to -300% in a single ability usage, assuming all 48 wing segments that split off drill directly into the target body during the impact.

One impressive aspect to consider, is that all 48 wing panels when separated are entirely controlled by Bahamut's mind (or programming), proving he has the ability to simultaneously juggle more than 50 action-thoughts at once.

Effect

Attack Form: {Summon Ability} Kinetic Homing Striker Barrage
Attack Type: Physical Piercing Damage + Non-Elemental Magical Damage (Optional)
Glyphring: False

Side/Secondary Effects

The skill requires all 48 wing segments on Bahamut to separate. Bahamut can use low-energy magic auras to stay afloat, but when executing the skill, the temporary loss of his own wings will negatively impact flight controls and evasive functions, primarily in speed. More significant however, is that by launching all 48 wing segments away, Bahamut is for the moment leaving his mechanical body more vulnerable to damage from behind or from above, as these wing segments naturally provide limitless levels of armor. The use of Marauder leaves Bahamut with less protection, until the skill ends and all wing segments reform on the body.

Manifestation

See description above.

Bahamut can in theory launch this attack without their glowing damaging auras, for the sole purpose of executing Marauder without expending a single point of his MP energy supply. The Power Level drop on Marauder is insignificant when this happens. When the skill ends, all 48 wing segments congregate together on the back of Bahamut's spine, fitting together like puzzle pieces in a swift, most elegant manner.
