Magic Concept: Kinetic Glyphrings

Despite the limited level of magic glyphring properties, a rare form exists to uniquely support Leray wielders who have trained how to properly use them. Kinetic glyphrings are glyphrings that specifically invoke no magic spell, though require some MP usage from a wielder to spawn from phase space into the physical world. When spawned, these medium-sized glyphrings become solid, retaining only about 30% transparency while floating in the air relative to the wielder's designated spawn point. Unlike other glyphrings, kinetic glyphrings are not merely holographic, and allow physical matter to affect the glowing ring. While not suitable as a barrier, these glyphrings can expertly be used as a floating platform to stand on where no ground exists at any space or height, with obvious range limitations from the summoning wielder.

Kinetic Glyphrings can be spawned in multiple numbers at once, and at any particular vertical orientation. The platforms can be as temporary as a few seconds or up to a full minute, and resist physical attacks up to a certain power level threshold. Wielders who spawn multiple kinetic glyphrings intend to use most or all of these magic platforms as a kind of tactical movement execution that would be impossible for most other people. As of 1974, Danny Mason has recently mastered the technique of using kinetic glyphrings to his advantage for special attacks, though he learned of this skill directly from Taylor Feer who mastered the art first.
