Anti-Gravitational Core Refractor
The Anti-Gravitational Core Refractor units are technological wonders contained as small cylindrical modulation devices, powered by Nrixus magic with a rotating internal shell and an internal power source. The design of these refractors is specific to reduce or remove the effects of gravity on the device itself. But further modifications can be made to apply this effect through high-energy transfer cables to other larger objects, such as the airships flown by Terracom. Used in airships, these core refractors can alter the velocity and change the effects of gravity to the entire airship when used at full power. The Anti-Gravitational Core Generator simply refers to a feedback of supplied energy that can be self-generated by the refractor core itself, allowing these units to recharge over time if depleted of their energy source. The Anti-Gravitational Refractor Engine is essentially the core itself, though while hooked up to a propulsion controlling subsystem installed into Polarian airships. They can act as backup engines for the entire airship if their primary propulsion system fails.
Utility
These units are used in Polarian Airships to provide better manuverability options to these airships, as well as acting as an anti-stalling measure given the rather limited rear propulsion system. This gives the airships a hover mode, which can be very useful for bombardments from above, landing procedures, emergency thrust and power generation options, as well as an emergency evasion option through a power pulsing protocol.
Access & Availability
These units are in short supply since they use lots of very rare and valuable resources to manufacture. On top of this wall, they are only provided to Terracom by Pharacorp, for continued use for research and development through the use of field-testing. The very reason Terracom does not have a vast supply of R1-VT6 Airships is because of the cost and rarity of both these refractor units and the cost of making an airship without them combined.
Complexity
The technology is extremely complex, as it can fully negate the effects of all internal and external gravity enforced upon the area of effect. In theory, these units can make it possible for spacecraft in outer space to remain in a single position without moving into orbit around a planet, and all without the risk of being pulled in by the gravity of any larger celestial object, though such a design would also warrant a much higher energy input and output supply, most-likely from antimatter power.
Discovery
The high energy potential of Nrixus magic is what made the unit function properly, though the device and its design had to be invented first, by a passionate inventor working for Pharacorp.
