Session 04 - The Rockrose and the Thistle
General Summary
Idris was an iconic emo boy, Drakor and Satoshi gave a couatl a life crisis when it demanded they prove to it they deserve to exist, Varix was shocked to see a Mercykiller Bloodhound with an Axani Hound wildwalker and handler looking for one of his old enemies, and they all entered the thunderdome and won against identical thug brothers, Clover ending one of their family lines and Tech pantsing another to reveal embarrasingly large family jewels.

From Aevo, 100gp and information on how to find Trine, a modron who's the only expert on Originator technology. She tells the players they can find him in Tradegate.
From the Dread Reaver for winning the fighting pit match, a piece of Kaorti resin that can be worth up to 5,000gp
Missions/Quests Completed
The players investigated the remaining parts of the Realm of the Norns after part of the wedding venue appeared in the Outlands. Only a small bit remained as Idris was able to create a portal at the center, but the parts of the venue that were remade by the architect were also there. Upon closer inspection, they realize that the wedding guests are part of the remade crystal structures that bloom around the center like a perverse lotus. When they reported to Aevo she asked if their necklaces reacted to the location at all, but they didn't feel anything.

Idris says he has spent some short time with all of their mentors, but didn't know them well enough to expect them to be at his wedding. That would be a question for Thalias why they were included. He explains Laws around Portal Operations and begrudingly admits his strange part in it. He was sick as a baby and Aoskar healed him, making him the first being able to create portals at will and making him near immortal. He lost Nehara when he created a portal out of the Opal Wedding attack, but her mind was ripped apart by something in the Space Inbetween. He is convinced she's alive still though, and he tells the characters to meet him at the Fortune's Wheel Casino in the Lady's Ward in Sigil after he does some of his own investigations. He gives them a sending stone to let him know when they've reached the city.
Before returning to the World Serpent Inn, they encounter a Mercykiller Bloodhoud with an Aoskian Hound and its handler looking for a fugitive whom Varix knows - a bulky, black dragonborn named Bernaz. They also encounter a couatl bullying people asking them to convince it why they deserve to exist. But after getting the same question posed back at it, it flies away having an existential crisis.
The Dread Reaver was enamored by Drakor's muscles and encourages him and his friends to enter the fighting pit. If they win, they can get a piece of Kaorti Resin worth up to 5000gp. They went toe to toe with 5 identical brothers. Clover knocked one in his balls ending his family lineage, but luckily he has 4 twins. Then Tech sliced the pants off another and revealed embarassingly large family jewels.
