Session 01 - The Axani Wedding
General Summary
The players all received invitations to an Axani wedding from mentors they haven't spoken to for a while. The invites came with stone necklaces. They all meet at Yggdrasil, the World Tree to access a portal to the wedding venue. It drops them off in a mysterious location as a security measure. The group fights off a small swarm of adorable Sunflies to gain access to a puzzle. They made quick work of the puzzle and opened the portal to the wedding venue.
Planar travelers would recognize the location as the Realm of the Norns. The group enjoyed the pre wedding cocktail hour at a beautiful venue, noting that no one else has necklaces that match their own. They also notice their mentors are absent.
The guests entered the wedding chamber, a beautiful round room with the gorgeous Axani couple in the center - Idris Telemmier and Nehara Alarie. Nehara's dad welcomes the guests and mentions that fates tend to be set at Axani weddings, tying together different people in sometimes boring, sometimes significant ways. Idris and Nehara kick off the ceremony with a special new song, The Horror and the Wild During the song, Idris makes eye contact with the group and smiles, though none of them know him directly.
However their performance is interrupted by the arrival of an Architect. On the horizon it can be seen remaking everything it touches while the group fights off vicious mirror monsters called Nerra. They surprisingly come close to victory against the Nerra when the Architect reaches the venue. Suddenly, their necklaces all begin to vibrate, and they are teleported into darkness.

Victus enjoyed getting to experience a wedding for the first time and became the center of attention for an elitist party guest. Drakor flirted with the assistant wedding planner Che'riwho was a bundle of nerves since the main wedding planner Thalias was missing. Varix overheard an Anteater Ardling and a fire Eodath gossiping about how the wedding date seems to be on the 300th anniversary of an Architect attack which remade/destroyed an entire plane. Tech went to get his fortune read by a mysterious woman, and after seeing the fascinating interaction the rest of the group quickly joined him to get their past and futures read, though they all got very cryptic answers.
