Jode
A quiet village at the foot of the Belvonte Mountains.
Elara, the Baker's Wife: A middle-aged elf with hollow cheeks and dark circles under her eyes. Her hair is a dull, lifeless brown, and her once vibrant green eyes are now dull and listless. She wears a simple, flour-dusted apron and moves with a slow, labored gait.
Borin, the Blacksmith: A burly elf with muscles that have begun to atrophy. His once bright red hair is now streaked with gray, and his beard is matted and unkempt. He sits hunched over his forge, the bellows wheezing weakly. The sound of his hammer striking the anvil is a faint, echoing sound in the otherwise quiet village.
Maeve, the Herbalist: An elderly elf with wrinkled skin and wispy gray hair. She moves slowly, supported by a gnarled walking stick. Her hands, despite their tremor, still retain a delicate touch.
Finn, the Young Boy: A pale elf child with large, hollow eyes and a persistent cough. His hair is a sickly shade of yellow-green, and his clothes are too big for him. He clings to a worn-out wooden toy, a faded image of a stag.
Lysandra, the Weaver: A young elf with a melancholic gaze. Her once vibrant green hair is now dull and lifeless, and her hands, which once wove intricate tapestries, now struggle to thread a simple needle. She sits by the loom, her fingers barely moving, lost in a daze.
Kaelen, the Hunter: A gaunt elf with a quiver of arrows slung over his shoulder. His bow hangs loosely in his hand, and his eyes lack the usual sparkle of a hunter. He used to be the most skilled hunter in the village, but now he struggles to bring down even small game.
