...You find Garth Hectrix sitting on an old heavy wooden chair, puffing away on his pipe. Poured over some important looking papers. “What can I do for you lot?" He asks without looking up from his scrolls. The air is heavy, and the old harbourmaster almost seems to be enveloped by mist. “If you’re here to complain about missing shipments, I don’t know where they are”. It appears that the old man doesn’t know much about the things going on at the harbour. He didn't even look up to see who had entered his room...
After poking the old man enough he seems to open up. “Once, I used to have a ship of my own. While she may have not won any beauty contest, she’s was a true queen of the skies. Fast, agile, could dive like a falcon. The ship reacted to my commands so quickly, she seemed to have a mind of her own. I painted her a brownish-green and called her The Spriteful Kea. Named her after the type of bird my grandmother always talked about from her home country, which were apparently very smart”. His one good eye seem sparkle with life, even though he seems to be fighting a singular tear. “My ship was lost to me, lost it in a common fucking card game to some kind of leaguemaster or high up merchant. After a successful haul of some very valuable commodities, I went and treated myself to a lavish meal at Bluudo's Nest. Excellent food, and the spiced wine flowed without excess. I was invited to a card game and after a lot of hands going my way, I seemed to lose it all in the next few rounds". I have no idea where the ship is now, you could ask around at the tavern back in The Roost.
