the Council
A group of highly qualified individuals, the Council of Meloria has been in power since 865 PC, which has since been dubbed the first year of the Modern Era by Meloria.
The current Council is made up of 12 individuals, 6 of whom are human and the other 6 of whom represent the major racial minorities of Meloria: gnomes, elves, half-elves, tieflings, and halflings. Each Council member retains their position for life, but may be removed by a majority vote of the guilds following a general vote of the populace to remove the individual.
