Silvanus Oak Father
Old Treefather
Silvanus the Old Oak, or Treefather, is the human god of the wild side of nature, althought he is often worshipped by druids of all races. He is believed to be one of the oldest of the gods, and a counterpart to Chauntea and ally to Lathander. His followers often attempt to halt the progression of civilization into nature, sometimes through violence. The forest goddess Mielikki is said to be his daughter, although many debates range about how literal that may be.
He is honored in the Great Garden due to his complementary role to Chauntea, but otherwise has very little to do with Meloria, and few of his worshippers ever set foot in the city.
