Shadowfell

Shadowfell is one of the two origin planes of the Material Plane, along with the Feywild. From the Shadowfell, the Material Plane gained the natural cycle of life and death. Where the Feywild houses arcane magic, the Shadowfell is a plane of the mundane magics that allow the Material to function as it does.

It houses the power of destruction, a dark swirling void of indifference. To gaze into the Shadowfell is to despair for all life; how could things so fragile, so easily broken, stand up to this might?
