Aerdrie Faenya

Bringer of Rain and Storms

Aerdrie Faenya is a member of the Seldarine, the elven pantheon. Her purview is the winds and weather, and she is known as the Bringer of Rain and Storms, the Lady of Air and Wind, and The Winged Mother. She is commonly depicted as an elven woman with bright sky blue wings, earning her the epithet She of the Azure Plumage. Before their fall, she was also known as Queen of the Avariel, the winged elves who made the Summits their home over a thousand years ago.
Aerdrie is a capricious goddess, as unpredictable as the thunderstorms she delights in creating. Her worship in Pinar is very limited, as she is indifferent towards most elves. The Aarakocra of the High Reaches often worship her as a pure white roc, a gigantic bird of prey.
