Blithe wears kit that speaks to her homeland; a Rakklethorn Toadskin vest with quills still intact, a trophy of one of her first solo hunting missions in the swamps that surround her hometown. Born of a comfortable, domestic family of innkeepers, Blithe always found herself torn between two worlds. She loves the warm hearths and jovial atmosphere of her hometown, but always from the shadowy rims of the raucous halls, listening and smiling, absorbing everything but keeping to herself. The swamp is where she lets her voice ring out as she wades in the muck and hoists herself up trees, emptying and baiting the snares that keep her brother-in-law's kitchen full of food for travelers. After a life spent honing her skills and protecting her neighbors, she's ready to see what's outside the trees.

Was a hostler before marrying Layne and still prefers to keep to the stables and tend the animals. Blithe gets her quietness from him. Mother: Layne.
