Waspids

A particular tribe of Insectoids that live in dense forests across Incontinence. They build their homes out of wood and vegetation in the shapes of hives, high up in the tallest trees, connected by webbed and wooden bridges.
The oldest enemy of the Arachnants, Waspids are excellent combat specialists, their more elite warriors have very powerful wings that allow them to fly at incredible speeds, and the pain from their sting is enough to paralyze their victims.
There are two major divisions of Waspids: Hornids, and Bumblers. Hornids are a fairly violent, combative people; while Bumblers, their plump cousins, are much gentler and docile than Hornids. Bumblers and Hornids do not get along, thus they tend to build their homes and societies far from each other where they never have to interact. 
Most aren't aware that the Hornids are the more violent subspecies, and call them Waspids out of ignorance, while still knowing the difference between a "Waspid" and a "Bumbler".
