Orcs
Oroks whose tusks protrude upwards from the bottom lip. These hairless people are typically very muscular, and their skin is tough as hide. Orcs name their weapons after the great warriors that die welding them in battle, forever immortalizing their ancestors with relics of war. Orc traditions are deeply rooted in the value of Honor, and there is no place more sacred and purer to an orc than the battlefield, where all are truly equal and only the strong survive.
Orcs aren't an inherently magical people, but they do gain some useful and interesting abilities through their bloodlines. If an ancestor at any point in an Orc's bloodline masters a skill or is bestowed with a magical gift or unique ability, any descendant can master that skill in their lifetime without much difficulty. Due to this the combat prowess and knowledge of different techniques and moves varies greatly from fighter to fighter. It is a major reason why Orcs can be so intensely loyal to their close friends and family, and so cold the more distantly related they are to one another. Since passing on powerful and helpful abilities is so important to the progress of their society, orcs are encouraged to master new skills through combat traditions. At one time this meant in battle, typically war or deadly duels. But since the peace treaties were negotiated between them and the Vangks by the human traveler Abby Normal, mastering skills is only possibly through a practiced combat tradition called martial arts. Many monasteries and dojos were inspired to be created to foster better learning and innovation among all the warriors of the tribes.
