Dozia

The tallest mountain in known Erith. It is tipped with vast billowing clouds that were created by the Elder Dragons. The peak divides the clouds. Atop the left side of the clouds is the Kobold settlement of Chazon'si. Atop the right side of the mountain settled a tribe of celestials, the children of the gods. There is a perilous trail up the mountain that the celestials ascended when they first settled, called the Tower of Heaven. There were rumors that the magic holding the clouds in the sky created a fog that covered the top of the trail, a fog that would entrap its victims in magical visions. Many celestials died in these mists, and those who survived made it a coming-of-age tradition to venture into the mists and return. The Elder Dragons left to save the drackonis from their cruel masters, leaving only one behind to watch over the kobolds, a dragon named Dor'Abu, who took up residence within the mountain. Only Empress Hira knows of his presence. It is actually the smoke from his nostrils that pervades through the top of the Tower of Heaven, causing hallucinations of his machinations. The mountain is actually a hollow, dormant volcano, with a large pillar of jagged stone spiraling to the bottom. Dor'Abu's lithe body wraps around the pillar all the way to the tip, with his tail coiled around the bottom. If anyone he deems a threat proceeds too deep into the mountain, he releases the poison mist from his tail and if that is not enough, it is sharper than any mortal blade for piercing intruders.   Chazon’si sits atop a gigantic storm cloud at the top of Mount Dozia. The constant cycle of pressure and moisture from this cloud is harnessed by generators the kobolds created, which powers the city, including the propulsion that keeps the city stable in the sky. (This is achieved with a metal alloy that is extremely light called Liminium, and propulsion jets that keep the city floating on top of the cloud).
