Temple of Light

The Temple of Light represents the Light and is present in most major cities in Erekiath. It is divided into two wings, the Protection wing, and the Healing and Nature wing. The protection wing is dedicated to Rahn, and the Healing and Nature wing is dedicated to Colibri. The protection wing has a courtyard used as a training facility that is usually hidden away between the outer buildings, to keep the temple garden outside the temple peaceful and clean.

Purpose / Function

The Temple of Light is a multipurpose building. The Rahn wing handles military training and manages the protection of the city, and in rare cases matters of national security, including war. The Healing and nature wing of the temple works as a hospital and is also responsible for maintaining the temple garden surrounding the temple.

Alterations

Although these buildings are usually quite big, to accommodate all the functions it needs to serve, it is generally kept humble. The temple in Aurora, however, has been ornamented with various statues, both on the temple walls and roof, but also in the garden.
