The Thirty Thrones of Hœm:
The thirty cities/communities that make up the nation of Hœm are ruled each by a leader who is selected by various local means—election, lotery, acclimation, heredity, combat, etc.—and serves as an autarch of that city. Together, all these kings, serve as senators which collectively rule the nation.
These leaders are addressed as "Thrones," e.g. "Lord Throne of Autumn," or "Throne Autumn," rules the city of Autumn in central Hœm.
