Umbraday 25/05/2345
The Ritual Room
- Sandstone magic casts spell and stone slabs shoot up around everyone
- K remembers playing hide and seek when she was, sees a covered wagon with a crate, hopped in, pulled the lid closed and remembers feeling excited but a little claustrophobic but knows she can get out, hoping the cart doesn’t get moved, feel movement and thinks it’s starting to move, tries to crack open the crate to see what’s happening
- K feels around the sandstone box and cannot find any seams, realises she’s completely encased and if she can’t get out she’s going to run out of air and suffocate and starts to panic a little, remembers feeling the same in the crate as she tried to open it when she was young and started kicking and pounding at the wood to let someone know she was in there
- K has since learned tricks to keep herself calm and manages to center herself and remembers she has a couple ways to get out of this, she considers trying to burrow but realises this is magical stone and not natural so it won’t work, she decides to wildshape into the Sporebound Bone Mammoth and feels herself growing and pressing against the walls, forcing Derek into a corner, she quickly tells him to climb into her ribcage as soon as he can and she bursts out of the box around her but takes 3 damage in the process (strength 9)

Round 1
- Derek flies over to M and says hi. He can see that there is a slight gap above the walls, flies up and squeezes into G’s area, M tells him to remind G of the chalk. He does and G seems confused, M yells “From the labyrinth” to clarify. Derek lands on G’s shoulder
- M Looks at the walls and tries to think if dispel magic would work on the walls, feels it might, but doesn’t know to what extent and decides it’s not worth a third level spell to potentially get through one wall. (Arcana 17) She then dashes over to K leaving a purple line on the wall with the Doodle Ring and asks K if she can get more walls down before continuing through the passage
- G moves into a dead end and hits the wall with 18 dealing 17 damage bringing the wall down and heads further in then hits the next wall, and destroying it, doesn’t notice a sheets being thrown at her (perception 6, cha save 7) Derek does notice (perception nat 20) and swipes at it hitting with 22 and destroys the sheet before it can hit G sheet. The Clown prince then appears from around the corner has links of keyrings with people turned to dolls like chainmail around his waist, looks taller and seems wiser
- K smashes through 4 walls (strength 22) realises she’s right on the edge of the blood pit and narrowly avoids falling in (dex save 15)
- B steps forward, sees Mammoth K covered in sandstone rubble and flies over K, heading to the left, finding a dead end and then dashes down and around the corner
Round 2
- Derek flies over and attacks The Clown Prince, missing with 15 then hitting with 21 dealing 8 damage, the Clown Prince makes his con save with 21 and avoids being poisoned
- M moves up a few steps then hears footsteps from around the corner and heads back (perception 24+4 and 4 damage from ear cuff) M tells K she heard boots around the corner, so someone is coming, B overhears and gets ready (perception 10)
- Clown Prince attacks Derek hitting with 20 Derek fails wisdom save with 8 and takes 13 damage which kills him then swipes at G hitting with 20 dealing 8 but her resistance takes 4
- G goes wolf mode and lunges hitting with 16 dealing 14 then swinging again hitting with 19 dealing 16
- K through 4 walls (strength 21) then stomps Clown Prince, hitting with 24 dealing 16, stunning him and knocking him prone, (strength save 8) letting out an enraged doot and she stomps
- G gets the impression that they should get the dolls away from him before he can use them against them (intelligence G 14, K 6)
- B sees Skylla unconscious in a glass chamber, hears something powering up before the wall below him crumbles, revealing Jian Chan, the Stone lord. B avoids the rubble of the wall falling on him (dex save 18) and activates sword, he also recognises a rune that looks like an ox on SL’s hand, assuming he used that to punch through the wall. B hits with 23 dealing 18 then hits again with 24 dealing 16
Round 3
- M hears B fighting and checks if he’s good, he says he’s got it and M and heads towards K, sees Clown Prince and blasts it with a firebolt, hitting with 21 and doing 18 fire damage as it hits the back of its head and shoots straight out the other side. K can hear a kind of nattering from inside the hole in the Clown Prince’s head (perception K 22, G 11, M 8)
- Clown Prince is stunned
- SL does something that makes B swing his sword at himself (intelligence save 12) but misses with 13, then activates a rune on his boots and runs to M and punches her hitting with 20 and dealing 12, she uses hellish rebuke he saves and takes 2 fire damage
- G slices at it, hitting with 18 and dealing 18 slashing damage, cutting its head off, then slices into its waist hitting with 23 dealing 18 and killing it, grabbing the keyrings of dolls as it falls and splits into 5 weird little head dudes who are looking hungrily at the dolls
- K attempts to tusk sweep but misses with 10 then goes to stomp and misses with 11 but they all take 1 necrotic damage from her spores as she doots in disappointment
- Skylla looks at B and coughs weakly. B looks through the glass and he sees shadow Riordon opens the glass case, kneels by Skylla and checks her pulse B attacks the wall hits with 26 dealing 13 +5 and sinks a smite into Riordan for 10 but takes half radiant damage then B swings again hitting with 27 dealing 15 but he takes 7, gets impression he can become resistant to attacks (intelligence 14) shadow Riordan says “The puppet served its purpose, it no longer needs to breathe”
Round 4
- M uses Blue Flame Blade but misses with 13, then tries to hit with the Basilisk Dagger but also misses with an 11. SL uses his reaction to blind her (con save 4) she curses at him
- Little fuckers hit G with 20 and 19 dealing 11 halved to 5, then 2 hit K with 23 and 21 dealing 15 the other misses K with 13
- Riordon misses B twice 16 and 17 then hits with 20 dealing 15
- SL pulls some bs and deals 23 fire damage to K and M (dex save13 & 10) M uses Korbus’ grace and diverts the fire stream around her, causing it to kill 3 of the little clown fucks
- G swipes at the little fuck hitting with 24 and dealing 21, killing him then hits the second with 24 dealing 16 and killing it then uses portal fang to get up to Vaeloron on the dais who says “Boss, one got up there” Nekros says “Just 10 more seconds” as he’s holding S by the throat M hears this exchange and passes it on to K (perception M 16+4 from earcuff, K 10)
- Vaeloron uses legendary action to move a wall so that it’s blocking G
- K breaks 4 walls (strength 23) and moves around M to SL and stomps him hitting with 18, dealing 10 damage, stunning and knocking him prone (strength save 8)
- B uses acid breath on Riordon who fails his dex save with 7 and deals 5 acid damage and he takes 2 damage as his acquired resistances reach 3
Round 5
- M and G hear a giant crack of energy from behind the wall at the same time as B feels his Clawshot Sigil falls from his arm and turns to stone, B picks it up and beats Riordan with it hitting with 22 and dealing 13 damage, giving him resistance to bludgeoning
