Introduction

  Periapton is home to an Earth-like fantasy world that I want to make as tangible as possible. The goal of this wiki is to be a base collection of information and stories, with lots of illustrations to back them up.  

The Age of Gathering

  Periapton is a planet with an Earth-like environment, but two orbiting moons. It is home to a lot of sapient species, who live on the Great Continent. There are in total three landmasses on the planet, but the main focus will be on this one for now. On there Humans, Kobolds , The Horned Wanderers and Lasankri to name a few, share the continent. Of the beings who keep records and remember their history, they all find that nothing dates farther back than a little more than a thousand years, but no one knows why. Throughout the continent and its surrounding islands you can find ruins of something else, but no one could enter them since the beginning of records. In this age there is not much magic to speak of, there are a few wonders here and there, maybe few enigmatic characters with mysterious powers, but nothing world changing.  

The Age of Infusion

  What marks the beginning of this age is that large quantities of magical energy started to weave itself around the planet. The nature of this energy is change and possibility, it can accelerate all kinds of processes or create entirely new reactions. What followed over the next years was a slow change of all living beings, plants and matter in general. Things and places awakened. People of all intelligent races had to adapt and entered a time of change.
