Lasankri

They are a race that is closely tied to all forms of stone and its natural occurring formations. In Periapton they make their home in Mountains and Cliffs. Some revere and search for the most perfect crystal formations, others see themselves as unyielding as the cliffs that hold back the waves and strive to make themselves in that image. One individual can live for hundreds of years, but only if he keeps moving and never stops. The curse that ties them so close to rock and crystal is that their blood and their body starts to crystallize when they stop moving for too long.

Because of their possible very long lives, they can only reproduce every few years.

They prefer to be surrounded by some sort of stone, you will never find a Lasankri in open plains or forests.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Lasankri do not need a lot of food, like Humans, to keep alive, but they still need water and some combination of carbonhydrates and proteins.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Every Lasankri has the innate ability to sense even the faintest vibrations when they are surrounded by rock and stone. But like every sense it needs to be trained and sharpened to reach that level. Some train all their lives to tell how rock formations and structures change underground.
