The Elven Grove

The home of the Wood Elves court, the The Elven Grove, located in the south eastern portion of Percens.  It also houses the grand wood elf city of Veilpas, one of the true wonders of the world.  The city itself seems to emerge from the woods themselves, with large portions of the residential areas hidden from sight within the high branches of the trees.  Many believe the elves employ some form of protective magic on the city as how much of it is visible seems to change with where you are viewing the skyline of their towers from.  There are even sections where you can be within a mile of the city of thousands and not know it as the city blends so seamlessly into the trees and forest surrounding it.
The Grove was once home to many tribes of malevolent races as well, but after a particularly bloody uprising of Orcs and Goblins, the elves decided to purge the woods of all evil and took on the massive undertaking of hunting down and eliminating as many of the threats within the Grove as possible.  While they were mostly successful, there are still small pockets of evil creatures hidden well enough to escape the notice of the Wood Elves who rule the forest around them.
