Gazza's island

Geography

Most of the island is flat plains, ripe with tall grass, small rolling hills, and gravel/ stone footpaths leading all around the island. There's a small river coming inland on the western side, coming in near to George Lucas' Brewery, a fine and sought after brewery. There's a second, much larger river, striking almost all the way across the island, coming in from the northern mountains and passing down to the south shores. The north part of the island is very mountainous and thick with forest. It makes three distinct valleys, all full of luscious green forest. There is one 'city' known as Brighton on the easern shore of the island, its the largest and most populated place on the island, and full of traders and such. It was built by the people of the island with Gazza. The rest of the island is mostly just odd small trade or farming villages. In the northeast of the island, on the rolling plains, is Gazza's Homestead, the place where Gazza himself lives. In the valleys too the north, The tower of day can be find. Its mostly unknown what is in the tower of day. Not far from Gazza's Homestead, the the cave belonging to The Cult Of Gazza, on the southern eastern base of the most eastern valley.

Ecosystem

There are many animals, foxes, seep, deer, ect ect. Many animals live in the tall grasses of the plains, and many mroe are farmed by the rich farmers who keep the island afloat.

Localized Phenomena

The weather, most unlike the other northern places of Penots, is hot. The sun beams down much hotter here than other places in the north, and it barely snows at winter. It does not rain very often at all, and most of the crops are watered by specialised, and potentially magical, irrigation.

Due to the hotter weather, when it moves east towards mainland Pentos and the city of Steed, many harsh and shipbreaking storms appear, making it one of the most perilous (and popular) journeys around Pentos. The sea here is also very shallow at parts, so often you can glace overboard to see a shipwreck lodges on top of the ocean. However this does not stop traders, who are experinces, known where not to saiul there ships and how to handle the storms.
