Neskur Xohim
Scientist, Tracker of the Isles
Neskur Xohim (ZOH-ihm) is an elderly gnome scientist. He has proposed that the isles are in motion relative to one another and has been collecting data to prove it for his entire life. He moved to Faks Isle in 2 BC to better measure the motion between Veraakden, Vendaria, and Dheg Lodar.

Personal history
In his twilight years, Neskur is unable to make the climb to his preferred point of data collection: the Chain's Root in the Northern Ridge of the Place-Between-Places. To continue his research, he is forced to hire bands of adventurers to do it for him.
In 77 AC, Neskur hired a small band of adventurers to continue his research. After three months, he believed that they had perished during their task. He hired the party to find the lost band, retrieve his measuring apparatus and his notes, and take the overdue measurements from the Chain's Root in the Northern Reach (see Session 1: Bacon and Wolf Worms).
