Halflings
Created by Taas on The Heartland, halflings are pleasant folk, happy to be home and enjoy the simpler things. Life is easiest and simplest when at home, and they are more than willing to support their local friends and family. However, like Tolkien's hobbits, they are surprisingly capable when put to task.
While some are intensely curious about other races, most are quite content to keep their noses out of other peoples' business. With that said, they will gladly treat travelers with free drinks in exchange for gossip.
