Dialgo
Manuel Corazon, also known as Dialgo, was born in the vibrant city of Acapulco, Mexico, on May 3, 1964. His childhood was characterized by an innate curiosity and fascination with how things worked, often tinkering with gadgets and creating new devices from spare parts.
The Corazon family was poor but close-knit, and despite their humble circumstances, they were a beacon of hope and resilience in their community. However, their peaceful existence was upended when the ruthless Las Manos De La Muerte Cartel started to exert control over their neighborhood. Fearful for their lives, the Corazons made the difficult decision to flee Mexico and start anew in El Paso, Texas.
It was during this traumatic period that Manuel's dormant Meta-genes activated, awakening his Meta-Human power. Manuel discovered he had Technopathy and Technokinesis – the ability to understand, control, and manipulate technology. This ability gave Manuel an unrivaled comprehension of technology, and he used this newfound talent to better his family's lives and those around him.
In the early 1980s, Manuel, now known by his superhero moniker Dialgo, used his abilities to make significant contributions to the field of technology, rapidly accelerating technological advancement. His actions did not go unnoticed, and he soon became the world's first public superhero.
In the late 1990s, Dialgo founded the Peacekeepers, a team of superheroes dedicated to preserving peace and justice. The Peacekeepers quickly gained international recognition, and their influence spread across the globe. Dialgo also conceived the idea of a technological metropolis that would serve as the Peacekeepers' headquarters. This city, named New Cordell, was realized in the early 21st century and became a symbol of hope and progress.
By 2023, Dialgo decided to retire from active duty to spend more time with his family in their San Diego home. However, his commitment to the Peacekeepers and the world at large remained unwavering. He continued to serve as a coordinator for the Peacekeepers, regularly made trips to New Cordell, and used his Technopathy and Technokinesis to maintain and improve the team's equipment, as well as invent groundbreaking technology. Manuel Corazon's legacy as Dialgo serves as a testament to his resilience, ingenuity, and dedication to the cause of peace and justice.
As the world's first public superhero, Dialgo almost single-handedly brought the existence of Meta-Humans to the world stage. His heroics and goodwill actions swayed the views of the world at large, creating a society that looks towards the mysterious Metas with a cautiously optimistic view.
