Lucky Kerrigan

Sheila Kerrigan (a.k.a. Lucky Kerrigan)

Lucky Kerrigan is a brash, loud-mouthed clurichaun. She carries with with her a chimerical shield (to humans it looks like a trash can lid studded with nails) and a sword (to humans, a bat with razor wire wrapped around it). Riding a motorcycle and travelling from place to place, she is nothing if not a hellcat. Her denim jacket is covered with buttons and pins - her hoard that she carries with her always.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Lucky's pretty private about her past - not out of shame or embarrassment, but because there's not much to tell (and she doesn't really believe that it says much about her now to know about her then).   But suffice to say, seeing how young she is, it's pretty easy to guess that she was either a runaway or that she left as soon as she was 18.

Gender Identity

Lucky is transgender (male to female), though there's not much language to describe that in the 1970s.   Most don't ask or know about her past, and Lucky doesn't talk about it, but not because she's trying to hide anything.   She simply phrases it (when it comes up - which is about 0.01% of the time) as, "I was born a boy and decided I didn't want to be one anymore. Anyone got a fuckin' problem with that?"    Most decide they don't fairly quickly when faced with Thorn.

History

A meeting by circumstance, Brick and Lucky both frequent a bar with an illegal boxing ring known as The GM (an old General Motors warehouse) in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.   Lucky was, at first, refused service by the bartender, citing that she was underage. As she (rightly) pointed out, they were already breaking about fifty laws by having a metal cage where people could knock each other's teeth out, so they had better serve her or someone was going to feel the business end of her bat.   Perhaps with others, that would have immediately had her thrown out of the bar. But it either endeared, intimidated, or convinced the bartender, and so she was given her beer. It impressed Brick enough to strike a conversation with the young woman, and from there they became fast friends.   To Lucky, Brick's a giant with a mean right hook that also enjoys a good brawl and always escapes without a scratch.   To Brick, Lucky is uncannily good at starting fights... and finishing them. She's as quick with her words as she is with her fists... or bat.

Commonalities & Shared Interests

A clurichaun and a Brujah... it's a match made in heaven. Both are known for their love of fighting and boxing - though a Brujah normally thinks of themselves as fighting for a cause, while a clurichaun thinks that a fight is just a good time.

Shared Secrets

The more important thing is what they're keeping from each other. As a changeling and a Prodigal, who both believe the other to be human, there's a lot of deception on both their parts to play the role of "fellow human."

Thorn
One of Sheila's chimerical item is her longsword, Thorn. In the human world, it's a large baseball bat studded with nails, but in the Dreaming it is a long, fuck-off longsword with thorned vines wrapped around it to tear at flesh the same as the nails would. It's damage is 12 dice of lethal damage, difficulty 5.

Ivy
Sheila's shield is a trash can lid to the unenchanted, but to those in the Dreaming, it seems to be a large oaken shield banded with silver and wrapped in ivy. It gives her 3 armor and +1 difficulty to be hit.
