Ezekiel Daskalov
Originally from San Francisco, Ezekiel Daskalov comes from a rather short line of serial romantics: his grandfather fled Eastern Europe, abandoning his wife and their young children to start over in America, where he fathered Ezekiel's father. Then Ezekiel's father had eight children with three different women before buggering off to who knows where. Ezekiel was determined to be different.
Oh, he shared his family's... virility... but he was quite a bit more committed when he made a decision to stick with a partner. It probably helped that he never had any children to risk abandoning.
When a hunter in San Francisco nearly killed him with an iron crossbow in 1923, Ezekiel fled to the East Coast. He wasn't called upon for service when World War II came about due to that injury, and instead he spent his days as a quiet book dealer who secretly had an occult section in the back and a sex dungeon in the basement.
Unfortunately, Ezekiel is getting older. He seems... bogged down by sadness. Oh, he still enjoys a good romp, a good wine, a good book, but as he ages the weight of the world weighs heavier on him now that when they first met.
He often complains about being trapped in a body that is slowly aging into disuse and that he will be dying soon.

Satyrs look out for their own, so when Denny first arrived in America, Ezekiel offered him guidance and a place to indulge in Revelry, should he need it. He also took the time to teach the young satyr about their cultures - their beliefs and core values.
