Danny Rose
A member of the Ranta Selkie family, Danny worked as one of the Sainers of the New York City changeling community. His pod, the Wave Riders, were an all-selkie motley working out of the World's Fair Marina in Queens.
In July 1968, another selkie within the Wave Riders named Nico Mendez was killed in a boating accident. The pod elected Danny as the etholwyr, charged with protecting and caring for the coat during the mourning period of a year and a day.
He spoke with a British accent but was very cagey about his past and what he had done prior to coming to America (though it was clear he had spent a lot of time in a freehold, judging by the fact that he barely looked twenty but claimed to be in his forties).
Danny Rose was killed during the Beltaine Massacre, as well as all members of the Wave Riders selkie pod.
