tiefling horn polish

tiefling horn polish (DnD Beyond)

Tiefling horn polish is a waxy putty stored in a small tin, used for cosmetic purposes. Applying one "dose" (a pea-sized amount of polish) to a tiefling's horns grants them advantage on Charisma-based skill checks and saving throws for the remainder of that day. After 21 days of continuous use, the tiefling user gains a permanent +1 Charisma. (This bonus can only be gained once per tiefling, though continued use of the polish still confers advantage on the relevant rolls.)   This substance seems like a relic of an earlier age - this sort of luxury item being produced in sufficient quantity as to have a standard package seems like something one wouldn't encounter in the current state of the world. The party found a half-full (10 uses) tin of cinnamon-scented polish in the Llyrian Moon Facility .   It may be possible to reverse engineer the formula to create this substance if it is analyzed by an alchemist.
In a Deal with the Swizzlebops, Breslyn von Swizzlebop will attempt to reverse engineer and replicate this substance. It is due to be complete around early Chillgreet.
