Potion of Stinking Cloud (DnDBeyond)

This is an alchemically-created substance kept in small, relatively fragile vial (intended to be thrown or broken on impact). The vial contains a viscous orange liquid; when the vial is broken, it produces an effect similar to the Stinking Cloud (DnD Beyond) spell in area, duration, appearance (aside from being orange instead of yellow) and effects.

Identified

While it is contained in the vial:

• Identify will explain its function/effects,
• it appears to have a Conjuration aura,
• it was created by two spells - Stinking Cloud and Alchemical Contingency.

Once the vial is broken, the cloud is conjured and ceases to be a magical effect. Therefore:

• it does not require the concentration of the wielder,
• it cannot be dispelled,
• it does not appear magical while in effect (no aura for Detect Magic)

In a Deal with the Swizzlebops, Breslyn von Swizzlebop will attempt to reverse engineer and replicate this substance. It is due to be complete around early Saltmeet.
