The Genasi villages established nearly 60 years before unify in the city-state of the Elements, an independent geopolitical organization that, at the start of the campaign (1379 AK), is the oldest remaining and one of the most constant nations in the known world, with 3192 uninterrupted years.

Established in 1379 AK, the City of Elements unimaginable longevity is, according to the scholars, the result of the combination of different factors:

• The complete lack of expansionism focus by the city combined with the strong defensiveness of the city itself;
• The remote location, basically at the edge of the known world and separated by other civilizations by either the Anklife sea, a steppe full of hostile nomadic tribes or what will eventually be known as Scoragh's Garden;
• The fertile land on which the city is built in, which is put to its best use and conserved by the natural and learnt control over the elements that most Genasi of the city display.
• The relaxed lifestyle of the population, which is known to heavily dedicate to artistic, academic or similar pursuit. This style of life is sustainable thanks to, again, the magical prowess displayed by the Genasi that live in the city and the slaves acquired with skirmishes with the nomadic tribes nearby.
