Green Gorge is founded

Founding

A horde of goblins, hobgoblins and trolls invades the eastern Northern Crest, quickly eliminating the small dwarven villages eastern border of the Whitefist kingdom, and settles in a huge mountain pass, creating the settlement then known as Green Gorge.

Already from their appearance, these races displayed an inclination to dwell in mountain climates and within mountains similar to the dwarves. Documents mentioning the creation of the Green Gorge are mainly written by dwarven hand, and are thus to be taken as probably not entirely objective.
