Western-Humans culture

Humans in the western continent differ from their eastern brothers in various ways, especially in their approach to certain schools of magic and in their minor gods.

Magic

Among the schools of magic, necromancy is not well perceived. While not strictly illegal, it can fall under the desecration of humanoid remains, which is illegal. In practice, this translates to the possibility of being arrested if seen graverobbing or if people related to a deceased person see said deceased person being reanimated. However, the concept of animating the dead and maintaining them is not illegal, even if severely frowned upon. In countryside or less populated places necromancy might be overlooked and confined to something to shun and be disgusted by, while in the middle of cities such as Bridgetown and Enverdoon, necromancers might become targets of the city guards, to be arrested if found guilty of something illegale or to be discouraged from raising the dead altogether.
