Soverialis

Soverialis is the sometimes male, sometimes incorporeal Order deity of Daardeonkar's spawn to which was assigned the control of Water. He is responsible for calm waters, rivers, rain and currents, as well as other always beneficials effects attributed to water.
Because the arcane energy used by mages flows in currents, Soverialis is also the god of magic, (with the exception of dwarven culture) - magic intended the ‘wizard’ way, a studious kind of magic. It also governs writing and is the patron of all scholars.
Understandably, Soverialis is one of the three deities of navigation, together with Airakrad and Antheria.

Divine Domains

Nature, Tempest, Knowledge, Arcana.
Soverialis' opposite is Naufreck.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

While often depicted as male, in the Eastern Continent he is incorporeal, according to a myth in which he cast away his physical body (and thus his gender) to completely embrace the magic currents.
He is depicted as a faceless adult humanoid with a long beard of waves, often with a book or a staff. In the eastern continent, the beard is cut and the body has more amorphous, almost liquid barely humanoid liquid.
Symbols of Soverialis are wave patterns, corals and silver.

Holy Garments

Clerics of Soverialis wear long wavy robes of blue tones, with white scapulars on chest and back. More presitigious or ostentatious clerics have wave-shaped trims on the scapulars, which can also be covered in various decorations. Often bracelets of aquamarine or corals can be seen on their arms.

Temples

Soverialis' temples are often the most grandiose, with multiple aisles, high ceilings and decorated floors. Clerics of this deity sometimes act as court wizards or substitute for wizards in arcane matters, which often results in them gaining prestige. Higher reputation and these double function as mags and clerics brings gold to the temples of this deity, which is often reflected in his temples. Soverialis' temples are commonly adorned with statues and are decorated with paintings, frescos, and ornated furniture. Wood is rarely used, as all temples have a relatively large central fountain or pool of water, close to the apse where the main statue of Soverialis is usually found, and the dampness of the enviornment would quicly deteriorate the wood.
Many of the biggest temples of Soverialis have arcane repositories and archived in the private chambers of the clerics, which are frequently large, comfortable and with expensive furniture. In these areas, clerics of the deity study and practive the arcane (when not devolving into areas of decadence and extreme luxury).
