Mahra

Mahra is a title in the Khalimedi Empire and in the Plethora. Historically the name of the rulers of nomadic human tribes in the eastern continent, with time Mahra stopped being directly linked with the original tribes but conserved a great deal of power. Nowadays, the seven Mahrai, seven like the nomadic tribes of eastern humans that entered the Daardai Empire ages ago, are the second highest rank in the Plethora and participate in the governing and ruling of the religious organization. At the same time, one of the seven Mahrai, referred to as the chosen Mahra, is part of the Sand Circle, making them one of the most influential figures in the Khalimedi Empire, together with the Emperor/Empress and the Shaly'ah.
