The motivation behind building Parallel world

I want to create a world that is as exciting and wonderous as it is

The goal of the project

I'm going to bring a vision of an epic detailed world to life. Similar to Harry Potter or One Piece in scope yet a bit more unique and in my style. Similar to a DnD campign.

Parallel world's Unique Selling point

Medieval fantasy with science facts rooted in it. A world with one country starting to develop new technologies and reaching the industrial age in a steampunk manner,

Theme

Genre

High magic fantasy with a steampunky twist.

Reader Experience

The world should feel wonderful and wounderous, yet dark and cruel at times. Realistic enough to be believed yet fantastical enough to be exciting.

The world is dark with some light shining dimly at times.

1. The cruelty of people they don't know 2. Hypocricy in it's finest forms everywhere 3. Corruption in each and every place 4. Betreyal lining history and current events 5. The importance of family to most creatures

The characters in the books will have big and long-lasting effects on the world.

Focus

Magic - The presence of magic in everything and it's effects on society
Politics - 13 kingdoms that have different views, differnet pros and cons, different races and citizens, different economies and history. The relations between them, the history of every country and the effeccts they have on each other as well as the inner politics. The consipracy theories and inner turmoil iside each and every kingdom that can cause their rise or downfall. The chaos and manipulation of countries and kingdoms by powerful individuals for their gain.
Class and race relations - racism and social problems in each kingdom. The hatred and disdain people have for each other even inside of their own comunities, let alone others.
Technology advancements - the entirety of the world is in the medieval fantasy age whilst one country has started to enter the industrial age. Trains, airships, bigger ships and boats have all started to be made. Suddenly the technology starts slowly but surely bleed to other countries and it affect everything.
