Material Characteristics

In it's raw form, a crystal is a translucent pink or blue collection of shards gathered from Realm 2: The Crystal Fields. It will change in hue based on the type of enchantment that is placed upon it.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The crystal like stone is very tough and takes a rather large amount of force to break. If struck just correctly, it will shatter, releasing a bright light.

Origin & Source

Though more crystal sources have been discovered since, the first discovery was in Realm 2: The Crystal Fields.

Life & Expiration

It is currently unknown how long a charged or uncharged crystal will last, as they are a recent discovery.

History & Usage

Discovery

First discovered in Realm 2: The Crystal Fields during the year 465.

Everyday use

Typically used to store magic to heal users, or teleport across planes of existences. So far it seems they are only able to hold a unique type of divine energy, as opposed to traditional magic.

Cultural Significance and Usage

As an important resource obtained from a gate beyond Urthspyre, many view the crystals as tools of the gods, or as a gift to guide them in their journey.

Industrial Use

Teleportation Crystals are heavily used to help companies move workers and supplies back and forth between realms.

- Synced to teleport the user to a specific Gate
• Recall
- Teleports the user back to and before the previous gate they passed through.
• Healing
- Restores some of the users vitality.
• Mana
- Restores some of a spell caster's spell slots
• Capture
- Helps Beastmaster's capture a monster
• Recorder
- Allows the user to capture a brief moment in time
• Revival
- used to bring back the recently deceased, up to 5 days.

Crystals so far seem to be a one use only item, before being completely consumed.
