Mana Steeds

A breed of horses specifically bree to become a Mage's steed. Faster, more durable and enduring than any natural breed they have been in service of the Racane Hierarchy for several millenia. With lifespans two or even three times as long as those of normal breeds, they can often accompany their rider for most of their life. They are created through a ritual undertaken by a specialized group of Beastmages.
