Lodestones

Lodestones are magical artefacts created by Phoenix to aid champions. They allow the holder to immediately swap their entire outfit for one stored within the lodestone, allowing for the keeping of secret identities. They can also, in an emergency, allow for Phoenix to pull the owner directly to her. Once done she cannot usually do it again for anyone for between one and four days. 
Currently, there are 26 lodestones in the world.

Manufacturing process

A chunk of meteorite iron is smelted down and formed into shape. She then scratches out the rune of The Illusionist, packs it with ground down gemstones and varnishes it with resin to keep the gem dust in. Once that's done she has to meditate for a week to instil some of her power within it to give it the right ability.
