the primordial leaf

The primordial leaf is a massive leaf that was discovered on an island off the coast of Tandonia in 878.
The primordial leaf is about 328 feet (100 m) wide and 656 (200 m) long. A leaf of such incredible dimensions could not have come from any tree yet discovered, and some believe that it came from a late-survival primordial tree. Primordial trees were trees that stood 80-200 km's in height and are believed to have gone extinct 30,000,000 years ago, but the existence of the primordial leaf provides evidence that some primordial trees still exist.
The leaf was also found to have only been separated from it's tree 8 years ago, and drifted across the winds and eventually landed on an island off the northern coast of tandonia. A leaf of it's size would not have been able to drift under normal wind conditions, and could only have been carried by the extreme winds of the upper atmosphere, winds that also only exist at the hypothesized height that primordial trees could have reached.
The leaf drifted north from an unknown location deep within Tandonia's unexplored interior, and that is where people believe that the last primordial tree forest exists.
The primordial leaf is currently preserved in the explorer's guild hall museum, and has served as a major tourist attraction for the city of Bael in which it is located.
