Norse

The Norse are a people from western Borea. The Norse are famous seafarers, and warriors and famed for their revolutionary long ships, which they used to raid distant lands and set up far away colonies, they also inspired the Great Ships of the Shorian Empire. Despite seeming like barbaric raiders on the outside, the Norse have an advanced culture, with a complex and epic series of mythological tales, written in runes, which they adopted from ancient Shoria. The Norse were also some of the first to encounter and name many sea monsters, like the sea dragon, kraken, emperor whale, Megalodon and many others.
The norse culture has been heavily influenced by ancient merindian culture and shorian culture, with merindian names becoming common for norse people and the norse adopted a lot of technology and also their written language from the shorians.
